7,800 citizens of Kyrgyzstan return home since coronavirus outbreak
AKIPRESS.COM – 7,888 citizens of Kyrgyzstan returned home since start of coronavirus outbreak, First Deputy Foreign Minister Nuran Niyazaliev said.
They were returned from such countries as Russia, Bulgaria, Vietnam, Dominicana, Egypt, India, South Korea, Malaysia, UAE, Poland, Thailand, Turkey, France, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan.
“We all know that it is uneasy to arranged the chartered flight. This is not only the work of the Foreign Ministries of two countries, but also work of other agencies involved, including air navigation authorities, airports. The permits of the third countries need to be obtained to fly in their air space. This is a long process,” the Fist Deputy Foreign Minister explained.
Since start of the pandemic, many countries temporarily closed their borders, the regular flights were canceled. Many Kyrgyzstanis remain trapped abroad. As a result of talks and work, several chartered flights were arranged.
