Presidents of Afghanistan and Azerbaijan discuss bilateral cooperation

President Ashraf Ghani met with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan yesterday evening on the sideline of the 56th Munich Security Conference and discussed trade, transit, bilateral cooperation, and state-to-state fuel contract.

Having talked over the improved relationship between Afghanistan and Azerbaijan, President Aliyev said his country is committed to extending cooperation with Afghanistan in multiple spheres.

President Ghani appreciated President of Azerbaijan for expressing the commitment and said Afghanistan would draw on the successful experiences of Azerbaijan in the areas of customs and fiscal management systems.
