AKIPRESS.COM – The OSCE Programme Office in Dushanbe has launched a project to stabilise Tajikistan’s southern border with Afghanistan, spokeswoman for the office Munira Shoinbekova told RIA Novosti.

The €3.3m project will be implemented in 18 months, she said. The project aims to improve the professional capacity of Tajik and Afghan border services to more effectively counter illegal activities in border areas, Shoinbekova said.
